The historic Remington Rand Building designed by renowned architect Gyo Obato (founder of HOK) was adapted to a mixed-use building with apartments in the upper level and retail on the ground level. This building was prized as one of the first mid-century modern buildings added to the National Register of Historic Places. Exterior restoration and interior retrofit allowed for this architectural jewel to continue shining.
